If you already know about the HGM (Hoof Guided Method), then you will know this quote and understand it's brilliant, significance. I have quoted this many times over, and shared as much wisdom and HGM trim, knowledge, that I learnt from Maureen, to who ever wanted to listen.
Maureen Tierney passed away in December, 2017, the founder of the HGM trim, so it's with a heavy heart and great sadness that I'm writing this blog.
I really think Maureen was brilliant in her development of the HGM trim, so simple and logical. Where other trims failed her she let all the over thinking and trying go, I saw it as enlightenment!
The good part in all of this, is Maureen started educating many horse owners to trim their horses and a few took things further and became certified HGM trimmers, with her online courses and trim coaching. Horses started having heels again and are able to move with balanced, pain free hooves and serious pathology's began to heal, naturally, according to nature.

Copy what the ground will do and let the hoof heal itself........

I am definitely going to do my best to continue to spread the HGM knowledge I learnt from Maureen.
I live with the results of this trim every day, my 5 horses rock crunching barefoot hooves and great movement, and with the positive results I see in the horses I trim for clients.
My website Passion Horse Hoof, is, I hope the beginning of a continuation of Maureens HGM education. For horse hoof sake!
