Thanks, To Hanna EngströmLast year 2015 I saw the posting on fb by Hanna Engström on how to make this riding skirt. Yes this is for me, I want one!!!! So I went out and bought a cheap sewing machine and bought the largest amount of material I could find from the second hand store, because in my small town there is no material store!. I'm not a sewer but the pattern was so simple and with Hanna's directions, clear and easy to follow...... With my burst of sewing enthusiasm, it was done in 2 evenings. The Best PartHanna made an instructional video for us! YouTube VideoPretty And FunI made mine with some kind of polyester material just one layer, my next one I'm going to try a double layer with fleece. Thank You Hanna Engström For Sharinghttps://www.ekeskogs-ridingacademy.com/

I follow the video right up till the end. Where do you sew? Do you make a side seam to make pant legs or just leave it open?

You don't worry about it coming too far apart and showing what you don't want seen? Lol

I love this and am going to try it. I wonder how wide is Hannah's material? Has anybody tried yet, and if so, how wide is your material? (I am not a sewer, but will try to do it!)

I love this skirt. So elegant and practical. I would like to make one, but am unsure how to attach the two pieces/make a fastening. Do you use a button or something like that?
